Discover Tofu Cape in Nanfangao—a hidden snorkeling spot known for its clear waters, rich coral reefs,
and colorful tropical fish. A small bay with remarkable biodiversity, it is often described as Suao’s secret underwater garden,
and home to around 150 coral species supported by the Kuroshio Current.
Tofu Cape is Taiwan’s largest tombolo and one of the world’s earliest recorded coral spawning sites.
Though only 0.4 km² in size, it is nourished by the Kuroshio Current and supports around 150 coral species—about one quarter of global coral diversity—along with rich marine life, forming Su’ao’s hidden underwater paradise.
